Our CGC Prep Program is a comprehensive training course designed to prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. Whether your dog is new to training or needs refinement on specific behaviors, this program is tailored to meet their unique needs. It focuses on mastering essential skills like polite greetings, composure in public, and handling distractions—everything required to become a certified CGC dog. Program Breakdown - 1. Initial Consultation & Skill Evaluation 2. Duration: 1 Hour 3. Overview: We start with a thorough assessment of your dog’s current abilities and CGC readiness. Based on this evaluation, we’ll create a custom training plan targeting areas for improvement and setting realistic certification goals. Skill-Focused Training Sessions - - Duration: 1 Hour per session - Skills Covered: 1. Greeting Strangers: Teach your dog to approach people calmly without jumping. 2. Polite Petting: Train your dog to stay relaxed while being petted. 3. Loose Leash Walking: Ensure your dog walks beside you without pulling. 4. Reliable Recall & Heel: Strengthen recall commands and heel positioning. 5. Calm During Separation: Help your dog stay calm when left with someone else. 6. Distraction Control: Prepare your dog to focus amidst real-world distractions. 7. Stays & Self-Control: Practice long sits and stays, even with distractions. CGC Practice Tests - 1. Duration: 1 Hour 2. Overview: Simulate the official CGC test to familiarize your dog with the process. This will help identify areas needing improvement. Final Test Preparation & Guidance - 1. Duration: 1 Hour 2. Overview: After the final lesson, we’ll assess your dog’s readiness and provide tips for success on the CGC test. We will also arrange a session for the official certification exam. Training Options: Tailored to You - 1. Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy: - Advance Booking: Sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. - Confirmation: Clients will receive a booking confirmation via email or SMS upon successful booking. - Payment: Full payment or a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment. - Availability: Bookings are subject to trainer availability and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Cancellation Policy: - Cancellation Notice: Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session without penalty. - Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will incur a fee of 50% of the session cost. - No-Show Policy: If a client fails to show up for a session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged. - Emergency Cancellations: In case of emergencies, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss potential waivers of cancellation fees. Waitlist Policy: - Joining the Waitlist: If a desired session time is fully booked, clients can join the waitlist by contacting us via email or phone. - Notification: Clients on the waitlist will be notified of openings via email or SMS in the order they joined the list. - Response Time: Once notified of an available slot, clients must respond within 12 hours to confirm the booking. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in the offer being made to the next client on the waitlist. - Priority: Waitlist priority is given based on the order of requests received. Clients who frequently cancel or reschedule may be given lower priority. General Policies: - Trainer Changes: In the event of a trainer's unavailability, we will provide a suitable replacement or offer to reschedule the session at the client's convenience. - Session Time: Sessions start and end promptly as scheduled. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session time. Important Notice: SMS and Email Notifications - Please be aware that by booking an appointment with us, you agree to receive SMS messages and emails related to your booking.
